چکیده

As well as suffering from the same congestion causes as fixed networks wireless ad hoc-networks introduce several new congestion factors due to both the medium used and the mobility of the user. Unlike in fixed networks, which utilise predominately end-to-end transport layer solutions, congestion control in an ad-hoc network must be local, fast and adaptive. Congestion management attempts to predict when congestion is about to occur and reduces the transmission rate at this time. In an ad hoc network, congestion occurs locally and must be dealt with in a localised fashion. When a node becomes congested, it alerts its neighbouring nodes and these backoff according to the volume of data they are forwarding through the congest node. This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of such congestion control techniques in ad-hoc networks, showing improvement over data delivery rates provided by standard Ad Hoc techniques.

Improvement of the mechanism of congestion avoidance in mobile networks

Mobile ad hoc network congestion control is a significant problem. Standard mechanism for congestion control (TCP), the ability to run certain features of a wireless network, several mutations are not common. In particular, the enormous changes in the network topology and the joint nature of the wireless network. It also creates significant challenges in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), density ...

Creating Dynamic Sub-Route to Control Congestion Based on Learning Automata Technique in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Ad hoc mobile networks have dynamic topology with no central management. Because of the high mobility of nodes, the network topology may change constantly, so creating a routing with high reliability is one of the major challenges of these networks .In the proposed framework first, by finding directions to the destination and calculating the value of the rout the combination of this value with ...

Congestion Aware and Control routing in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks: Current State of the Art

With the increase of multimedia traffic over the past few years and traffic differentiation introduced by IEEE 802.11e, nodes with packet loss, delay-sensitive multimedia traffic tend to be busy for long periods, thus exacerbating the congestion problem in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). In this paper, we first expose that the performance of MANETs routing protocols is highly dependent on the ...

Secure Enhanced Authenticated Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Problem statement: This study propose an improvement of Ad Hoc on Demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing protocol in order to include some of the aspects of ad hoc networks such as load balancing, congestion avoidance and avoidance of link breakage. Approach: The most important problem nowadays is link breakage which mainly occurs due to excessive load and congestion in the network. Each node co...
